Located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - the heart of the Canadian prairies - Prairie Sun Analytics is a full service company that specializes in providing advice to aspiring food testing laboratory owners and existing labs wanting to improve and hone their management practices.
Bonnie Larson (BSHEc, BAC) is Founder and Principal of Prairie Sun Analytics. After working for 15 years in the food testing industry in a food analysis lab, Bonnie co-founded her own food testing laboratory which she managed for an additional 15 years. She was closely involved with all aspects of operations, including marketing, customer relations, testing analysis, budgetary oversight, as well as ensured compliance with corporate and regulatory protocols, and adherence to ISO certification and accreditation requirements.
When their lab was bought out by an international certification and inspection company in 2013, Bonnie stayed on as branch manager until 2017, working with affiliated food labs in the UK, USA, China and Germany, as well as agricultural labs throughout Canada, the USA and Europe to provide quality services to customers, all while following corporate and regulatory protocols, maintaining certification and accreditation requirements and meeting budgetary goals.
